We play an active role in all of the communities around our quarry operations. Through our Helping Hand community investment programme we actively support local groups and projects around the country, either through financial donations or via assistance with materials and labour.

We recognise the potential impact of our quarry operations and strive to involve communities in our plans. At many of our sites we operate successful Local Liaison Groups as a way of communicating freely and openly with nearby residents and other stakeholders in our business. We also regularly organise public open days and exhibitions to enable people to see our business first-hand.
